The boring page, written plainly.

Everything a commercial buyer, a procurement officer, or an insurance carrier tends to ask for, in one place.

Licensing

Texas Department of Public Safety license B30882401 and ACR 3327339, held by the operating entity. Both are verifiable in the state database, and we would rather you check than take our word for it. Certificates of insurance and a W-9 are available on request for any project.

Alarm permits

Most Texas cities require a monitored alarm to be registered with the municipality, and most fine for false dispatches on an unpermitted system. We tell you which permit your address needs, help with the paperwork, and keep the registration current as part of the account. The permit is issued to you, not to us.

Your video and access data

Your footage and your access logs are yours. We access them to service the system or when you ask us to pull something, and retention is written into your agreement rather than left vague. We do not discuss any customer system with anyone outside your authorized contacts, and we do not use your footage for marketing.

What we do with what you send us

Requests from this site go to our own people to answer. We do not sell, rent, or share what you send with anyone, and we do not pass leads to third parties. Site analytics are aggregate only.

Documentation and handover

Drawings, device schedules, port maps, and credentials for the systems we install belong to you and are handed over. We do not lock equipment so that only VDS can service it. One partner should be a choice you keep making.

Ending an agreement

The term, the notice period, and the renewal terms are stated on the agreement you sign, in plain language. If you decide to leave, we hand over your records and we do not make the exit harder than the entrance.
