Fire protection sits with 1st FP Companies, our affiliate. VDS does security. Because the two companies share ownership, you can have security and fire under one relationship, with people who actually coordinate, rather than hiring two unrelated vendors and hoping they talk.
Usually yes. We survey the panels, cameras, readers, and network, tell you what is serviceable, what is obsolete, and what should be replaced, then quote taking it over. If a system is fine, we will say so rather than selling you a rip-and-replace.
It depends on how many systems and devices report and what response you want. We put the monthly number and the term in one document before you sign anything, and we will show you what is included and what is billed separately.
Monitoring is a term agreement, and longer terms price better. We tell you the term up front, in writing, along with what happens at renewal. No automatic multi-year rollovers that nobody mentioned.
Central-station operators, around the clock, working the call list you gave us. Where cameras cover the zone, they look at the video before dispatching anyone. We do not publish response times, and you should be skeptical of companies that do.
We work across Texas in seven regions. Central Texas is home and we are there daily. The I-35 and I-10 corridors are regular routes. Dallas, Houston, East Texas, and West Texas are planned in scheduled blocks. Tell us where your sites are and we will say which we serve weekly and which we schedule.
We do not discuss our customers or their security. That discretion is part of what they pay for. What we are glad to share is verifiable: our Texas license, our history since 2002, and a walkthrough of exactly how we work.
